Abstract
The value of East Java Exports in June 2017 reached USD 1,372.60 million or decreased 18.39 percent compared to May 2017 which reached USD 1,681.84 million. Meanwhile, cumulatively, export value from January to June 2017 reached USD 9.356.40 million or decreased by 8.15 percent compared to the same period in the year of 2016 which reached USD 10,186.09 million.
During June 2017, non-oil and gas exports in East Java were dominated by jewelry/gems valued at USD 192.35 million, followed by copper of USD 111.99 million, timber and wooden goods amounting to USD 89.84 million, fish and shrimp of USD 88,04 million, and animal or vegetable fats and oils of USD 101.95 million.
The largest export destination of East Java non-oil products in June 2017 is Japan, with export value reaching USD 227.63 million, followed by US with export value of USD 168,62 million and next is China with export value USD 122,76 million . As for ASEAN countries, the export destination of East Java's main non-oil commodities is Malaysia with export value reaching USD 78.77 million, followed by Singapore with USD 56,0388 and Thailand value of USD 47.56 million and Vietnam valued at USD 39.72 million . While for EU countries the main export destination of East Java is the Netherlands with export value of USD 33.61 million which decreased by 1.13 percent compared to the previous month, Germany valued USD 23.48 million and Italy with exports of USD 15.39 million.
