Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of East Java Province in June 2017 rose 0.82 percent from 102.16 to 103.00. The increased in NTP is due to the price index received by farmers (It) has increased, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) has decreased.
The four agricultural sub-sectors that experienced an increase in NTP were fishery sector 1.44 percent, Food Crop sub-sector by 1.40 percent, Livestock sub-sector by 1.09 percent, and Plantation Crops sub-sector by 0.12 percent. While the Horticulture sub-sector decreased by 0.15 percent.
The top ten commodities that drive up the price index received by farmers in June 2017 are beef cattle, grain, seaweed, coffee, shrimp, coconut, corn, tuna, cashew nut, and tobacco. While the ten main commodities that hampered the price index increment received by farmers are sugar cane, patchouli, citrus fruits, lemuru fish, tilapia, chili, red onion, red chilli, eggs, and petsai / mustard.
The ten major commodities that cause the price index drops paid by farmers are garlic, cayenne pepper, bran, red pepper, onion, chicken eggs, mustard greens, green mustard greens, cucumbers and lemuru.Sedangkan ten major commodities that inhibit the decline in the price index Paid by farmers in June 2017 are PLN Group I, ice cubes, rice, vegetable tomatoes, broiler seeds, long beans, high school fees, chicken meat, motor boats and corn.
From the five Provinces on the Island of Java performing NTP calculations in June 2017, all provinces experienced an increase in NTP. The largest increase in NTP occurred in Banten Province by 1.34 percent, followed by Yogyakarta Province of 1.16 percent, Central Java Province 0.86 percent, East Java Province 0.82 percent and West Java Province by 0.50 percent .
