Abstract
The value of the Fisherman Exchange Rate(NTN) of East Java Province in June 2017 increased by 1.84 percent from 119.12 in May 2017 to 121.31 in June 2017. The increase in NTN was due to the price index received by fishermen by 1.75 percent, While the price index paid by fishermen fell by 0.08 percent.
The top ten commodities that drive the price index received by fishermen are tuna, mackerel, skipjack, yellow fish, swanggi fish, swallow fish, mackerel, squid, swallow fish, and mussels. While the top ten commodities that hampered the price index increment received by fishermen are lemuru fish, mullet fish, tembang fish, peperek fish, cucumber, grouper / garopa / groper, goldfish, tuna, yellow tail fish and shellfish.
The top ten commodities that drive down the price index paid by fishermen are garlic, cayenne pepper, red chili, red onion, chicken egg, mustard, lemuru, green chilli, petai, and pindang ikan. While the top ten commodities that hindered the price index indices paid by fishermen are the electricity cost of PLN Gol. 1, ice cubes, vegetable tomatoes, rice, motor boats, diesel, long beans, lift nets, wage transports to TPI, and beef.
The development of NTN in June 2017 to December 2016 (calendar year) increased by 4.58 percent. The development of NTN in June 2017 to June 2016 (year-on-year) increased by 7.66 percent.
For provinces in Java, NTN increment occurred in East Java 1.84 percent, West Java 1.13 percent, Banten Province 1.02 percent, Yogyakarta province 0.93 percent, and Central Java Province 0.81 percent. The only province that experienced a decline in NTN was DKI Jakarta at 0.62 percent.
